Episode 112: The Sweet Smell of Succession
Michael and Jessica talked a bit about HBO’s Succession during its first season, and this week, they return for a closer look. Michael and Jessica talk through each member of the Roy family, who represent a typology of bad clients, from idealistic, petty Connor to impotent Cousin Greg. Of the profane, patriarch Logan Roy, Michael says,
You’re going to do his bidding. It could be for good, it’s likely for evil, and you may or may not get paid by him — or any of these other people — but he’s the one who can actually make something happen.
