Episode 63: August Recess
Michael is at the beach this week, and Jessica reprises some favorite segments from the early days of the Observatory. Perhaps most timely of these is the history of the Doomsday Clock, which the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists moved half a minute closer to midnight the week after Donald Trump became president.
The Doomsday Clock segment first aired on 150 Years, 7 Minutes, 6 Seconds (05.27.15)
The color blue first aired on The Inevitable (04.09.15)
Michael talked about his selfie stick on Over the Rainbow (08.19.15)
And they riffed on the FYI I’m a Graphic Designer supercut on FYI We Are Graphic Designers (03.12.15).
